Terms and Conditions — Challan app

Using the app

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app on your devices for your own business or personal record keeping. You may not copy, modify, resell, reverse engineer or redistribute the app, except where the law allows it.

Free version and Challan Pro

The app is free to download and use, with up to 30 new challans per calendar month. Challan Pro is an optional one-time in-app purchase (₹299 in India; the store shows the price for your country) with no subscription. Pro adds unlimited challans, Excel and CSV backup, import and the sample file, PDFs without the “Made with Challan” line, a signature or stamp on challans, extra PDF designs and colours, duplicate and triplicate copies, and sharing party statements as a PDF.

Payment, refunds and receipts are handled by Google Play or the App Store under their own policies; please request a refund through the store you bought from. Pro is linked to the Google or Apple account you bought it with, and you can restore it on another phone signed in to that account with Restore purchase on the Pro screen.

We may add features to Pro or the free version over time. Features already included in Pro when you bought it will not be moved behind a new payment.

Your data and your responsibility

• Everything you enter stays on your phone. You own it and are responsible for it.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of challans, rates, GST percentages, amounts, stock and payment records.
• The app is a record-keeping tool. It is not tax, legal or accounting advice. Check with your accountant or tax adviser what documents your business needs, such as tax invoices or e-way bills.

Backups

We have no copy of your data and cannot restore it if your phone is lost, reset or damaged, or if the app is removed. If you have Challan Pro, please export a backup regularly from More in the app and keep it somewhere safe. Without Pro, the app has no backup, and your data exists only on that phone.

Other apps

Sharing, printing, Excel files, links and purchases use other apps and services (for example WhatsApp, your printer or spreadsheet app, your browser, Google Play or the App Store). Their own terms apply, and we are not responsible for them.

No warranty

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work to keep it accurate and reliable, but we do not promise that it will be error-free or always available, or that it will suit a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Artista Solutions is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profit or business, arising from your use of the app or from being unable to use it.

Not a government app

The app is made by Artista Solutions, a private company. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Government of India, GSTN, CBIC or the e-way bill system. It does not file GST returns or generate e-way bills. GST rates and calculations are provided for your convenience; for official information see the GST Portal (https://www.gst.gov.in), CBIC GST rates (https://cbic-gst.gov.in/gst-goods-services-rates.html) and the E-way Bill Portal (https://ewaybillgst.gov.in).

Ownership

The app, the Rojmed name and logo, and the app design belong to Artista Solutions or its licensors. These terms do not give you any ownership rights.

Stopping use

You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts in Vadodara, Gujarat, India have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any consumer protections that apply to you.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the updated terms.
